Rainham Newsletters

As some of you may be aware of Rainham C.C has its own newsletter! Inside you will find a run down of recent matches, upcoming events and other news relating to the club, there is even a newsletter for the under 13's! It is created by Peter Reynolds who no doubt spends a lot of time on it. Below are the first few issues.

Annual Dinner and Dance

Its that time of year again, when the dinner and dance is upon us. Tickets can be purchase from Jack Gilliland and are £35. This year it is at Orsett Hall and starts at around 19.30. If you are interested you need to let Jack know by the 29th October, at the AGM.

Upcoming AGM

On the 29th of October, we have our annual general meeting. All members should attend if possible so they can vote for those standing for the many committee and playing roles within the club. It will take place at Sping Farm Park and will start at 19.30.

Minutes of Lords AGM

The Lords international annual general meeting took place on Sunday 14th December 2008. Many rule clarifications were made and some other equally important decisions as well. Below are the minutes of this meeting.

On the 6th December at the Rainham Village Fayre the cricket club set up an exhibition celebrating 100 years of cricket at Rainham. Many people showed their interest in the club including a few ex players who havent played in over 50 years! Just as surprising there were many people who had not even heard of the club, so we set them straight! A big thanks to all those member who turned up on the day to help. Below is a picture of our enigmatic chairman Nicholas Thwaites, and an ex player Gerald Setter.

29th October 2009 - Annual General Meeting - 19.30 Over Spring Farm Park - All members invited.

9th February - First indoor net practice at Abbs Cross School, 9pm - 10pm.

5th February - Commitee meeting commences at 8:30pm at the Albion Pub. All commitee members are invited.
