Rainham Football Club
In 2018 Rainham Cricket Club voted to become Rainham Cricket and Football Club, starting with a Sunday League team managed by Keith Light to play in the Brentwood Sunday League.
With a combination of players from the cricket side and some specialiosts brought in, the Sunday "A" team has had immediate success, being promoted from Division 3 in the first season, and looking well on course for another promotion before COVID halted the second season.
In the future there are plans to run junior football sides, and further senior sides as well.
